MAGNETIC FIELD THERAPY TO COMBAT INCONTINENCE PROBLEMS

Incontinence problems are generally very troublesome for those affected. Training of the pelvic floor muscles often provides relief and brings back quality of life and vitality. The magnetic field therapy system ContiCure strengthens the muscles quickly and very efficiently. And very easily, while seated in a comfortable chair.

The therapy is suitable for anyone who wants to strengthen their pelvic floor muscles: for example, for elderly persons with urinary incontinence, for women after childbirth or for men following a prostatectomy.

Since the pelvic floor muscles are already weakened through too little exercise, frequent sitting, overweight and poor posture, preventive training is also absolutely useful.

What the treatment is like

An applicator in the seat of the incontinence chair induces magnetic pulses that stimulate contractions of the pelvic floor muscles in a targeted way. This has an enormous training effect because, in the course of a single 20- to 30-minute session, the muscles contract many thousands of times.

This is many times more often than during a training session with Kegel exercises.

Results and duration of the treatment

For an optimal and longer-lasting result, approximately 8 to 10 training units are needed. Some patients experience an improvement in their incontinence problems after just the first few treatments. Many people report pleasantly surprising effects after the therapy, such as tightening of the muscles of the buttocks, back and lower abdomen, or a more pleasurable sex life.

Comfortable and painless

The pelvic floor therapy is non-invasive and absolutely painless.

During the training, you are seated on the upholstered treatment chair. Fully clothed and relaxed. You do not need to do anything and can, for example, read or let your mind wander.
